We are a collective of passionate artisans dedicated to transforming raw materials into soulful artworks. Our studio is located by the sea, where every piece becomes a dialogue between nature and craftsmanship.
From Concept to Creation
Founded in 2015, Carve Island began as a small woodworking shed by the ocean. Inspired by wave formations while surfing, our founder Max started experimenting with carving ocean movement into wood.
Today, we've evolved into a comprehensive carving studio specializing in wood carving, stone sculpture, and custom art installations. Our team consists of seven artisans from diverse artistic backgrounds, each bringing unique perspectives and skills.
We believe true art exists not only in the finished piece but in the creative process itself. Every carve is a conversation with material, every polish a respect for detail.
